Mentoring and Non-executive Director services

It can be a lonely experience managing a growing business and juggling so many challenges, often without anyone within the business or family to speak to for advice.

Before starting my own business, I was Managing Director and General Manager of various engineering companies and an advisor to many different organisations as part of a group of business owners and managing directors.

My experience has taken me through many different and challenging experiences. Most often HR, people management and company strategy issues are recurring themes. For example, when you have to deal with an awkward employee it helps to have someone you can speak to. ‘Gung-ho’ speak like “no-one was ever sad to see an asshole leave” is not easy or helpful when it’s you who has to do the warning or firing.
